Senior Maintenance Supervisor
The Opportunity
Hedsor House is an award-winning private wedding and events venue set within 100 acres of stunning grounds, combining a Georgian manor house, guest accommodation and estate properties.
We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to play a key role in the ongoing care and presentation of this unique estate. This is a hands-on, long-term position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and wants to be part of a close-knit team maintaining a high-end environment.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee day-to-day maintenance, support a small team, and help ensure the estate consistently looks and operates at its best.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading Day-to-Day Maintenance
Overseeing maintenance activity across the house, estate buildings and grounds
Coordinating and prioritising reactive and planned works
Supporting and guiding the maintenance team in daily tasks
Maintaining High Standards
Ensuring all areas are safe, compliant and presented to an exceptional standard
Taking pride in the detail expected of a premium venue
Acting as a key point of contact for maintenance across the estate
Hands-On Support (Varied Work)
Carrying out a range of general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical (within competence), carpentry, decorating and repairs
Responding to urgent issues when needed
Working with Contractors & Teams
Managing external contractors and monitoring quality of work
Liaising with colleagues, tenants and residents in a professional and approachable manner
Compliance & Planning
Supporting statutory compliance (gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene, H&S)
Assisting with planned preventative maintenance schedules and record keeping
Cost Awareness
Supporting sensible purchasing decisions and identifying practical, cost-effective solutions
Scope of Work

Rental properties and private residence (scheduled works)
About You
Essential
Strong practical maintenance experience across a range of trades
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
Good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Full UK driving licence
Based within 30–40 minutes of Hedsor
Desirable
Trade qualification (electrical, plumbing, mechanical or similar)
Experience in estates, facilities, hospitality or similar environments
Knowledge of plant, boilers or building services
